Peter Kim is Assistant Vice President of Risk Management Services for Philadelphia Insurance Companies. He is responsible for the delivery of risk management and safety services for the Upper Midwest through the South Central portions of the country. Much of his 35 years of experience have been focused on nonprofits, religious organizations and schools. He has created a variety of safety and risk management resources, including monthly safety newsletters for churches and for daycares. Peter also serves as the Chairperson of Philadelphia’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council.
Peter is a graduate of the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign with a BS in General Engineering. He received the Award for Academic Excellence in 2001 in conjunction with his Associate in Risk Management designation. He serves on the board of directors for the Society of Casualty Safety Engineers. Among other roles, he has served as the Industry Practice Leader for Religious Organizations at Zurich Insurance.
Peter is a father of two adult sons, enjoys volunteering at his church’s food pantry, is an avid runner, and is engaged to be married this summer.
